Sassy didn't get her name for her personality. It came from the name of a tree that was used for registering her with AKC. She was named after the Sassafras tree. Of course, she is not at all sassy, the only time you see maybe 2nd gear is at feeding time. Sassy just celebrated her 7th Birthday and every year continues to be a joy.
