My aunt picked up Iris’s mommy as a stray not realizing she was pregnant. Shortly after, Ellie Mae had 10 puppies, one of them being Iris. I took her to live with me at college, and we have absolutely become the best of friends. We only separate when we have to, and I think we’re both incredibly glad Ellie Mar walked up to my aunt when she did!
